Please contact your Washington state senators and representatives to assert your support for two bills that would ban the sale of assault weapons and large capacity magazines. The two bills are HB 1134 and SB 5050. You can submit comments and track the status of these bills at http://app.leg.wa.gov.

For too long, we have put gun rights ahead of the rights of our students, teachers and families to live, study, and work in safety. We may not rid our communities of these awful weapons immediately but we can start today by banning their sale and public use.
