Skyline dropped for KingCo title
Inglemoor delivered the first conference loss of the year for Skyline in the 4A KingCo title game Monday, shutting out the league’s top seed 4-0 behind a quartet of first half scores.
Inglemoor led 2-0 before the game was 10 minutes old against a group of Spartans that allowed that many goals in its last five games combined.
The loss gives Skyline the second seed to the 4A state tournament, where they will meet the third seeded team from the bi-district 3/4 tournament.
Issaquah knocked out
Roosevelt survived a 2-1 game with Issaquah to keep its season alive and send the Eagles home one game short of state.
