Crusaders cruise in first round

The Eastside Catholic Crusaders registered a 42-14 victory against the Meadowdale Mavericks on Nov. 14 in Seattle in the first round of the Class 3A state playoffs. The Crusaders (10-1) will face the Lincoln Abes at 4 p.m. on Nov. 22 at the Lincoln Bowl in Tacoma in the Class 3A quarterfinals.

Skyline punches ticket to Class 4A semifinals

The Skyline Spartans ground out a hard-fought 2-1 win against the Olympia Bears on Nov. 14 in Olympia in the Class 4A quarterfinals. Skyline will face the Jackson Timberwolves at 6 p.m. on Nov. 21 at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup in the Class 4A semifinals.

Skyline goes 1-2 at the Class 4A state tourney

The Skyline Spartans volleyball team earned a 3-2 victory against West Valley (Yakima) and suffered losses against the Olympia Bears and the Central Valley Bears at the Class 4A state volleyball tournament on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15 at St. Martin’s University in Lacey.

Eastside Catholic goes 1-2 at the Class 3A state tourney

The Eastside Catholic Crusaders volleyball team captured a 3-1 win against Edmonds-Woodway Warriors and lost to the Capital Cougars and Southridge Suns at the Class 3A state volleyball tournament on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15 at St. Martin’s University in Lacey.
