Washington Stealth, the state’s new professional lacrosse team, will bring two players to Sammamish on July 13.

Paul Rabil and Jason Bloom will host a free shooting clinic for the Issaquah Youth Lacrosse Association and all its members from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Skyline Community Fields.

Rabil was a member of the 2009 National Lacrosse League All-Rookie team and led all Stealth transition players with 34 points. Prior to the NLL, he starred at Johns Hopkins University where he won two NCAA Division I National Championships. He was the No. 2 overall selection in the 2008 NLL Entry Draft. One of the things he is best known for is his shot, which can reach 111 mph.

Bloom was a two-time team captain at the Ohio State University before entering the NLL with the Colorado Mammoth. Last season, he scored 23 points in 16 games for the Boston Blazers. He coached the Overlake lacrosse team last season.

On July 14 Rabil will host a public appearance and autograph session from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Breakaway Lacrosse in Bellevue. Fans will receive an autographed 2010 Paul Rabil Player Card and get an opportunity to meet the four-time NCAA All-American.
