Snow forecast holds strong for Issaquah/Sammamish

Meteorologists are holding strong to their forecast of snow Wednesday afternoon, with a couple inches in the forecast for Issaquah and Sammamish.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Puget Sound Region starting this afternoon.

While lower parts of Issaquah may not see snow until midday Wednesday, Sammamish could get hit with the white stuff as early as tonight.

While clouds are expected to clear up Thursday with sunny skies, frigid temperatures could keep the roads icy Thursday and Friday.

Students in the Issaquah School District are on winter break this week.
