Two students who attend Issaquah High School have received National Merit scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities. Catherine J. Ball plans to major in computer programing and received a scholarship from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn. Grant K. Vaska is undecided as to a major and received a scholarship from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
