PORTABLY VALUABLE: A backpack and its contents were reported stolen at a total loss of $750.
SUSPENDED: A 36-year-old Ravensdale man was arrested near Southwest Clark Street and Wildwood Boulevard Southwest for driving while license suspended.
SUCKS: A Northwest Gilman Boulevard business reported a $1,300 loss from two stolen vacuums.
Nov. 1
BAD SIGN: An officer responded to a call of road signs taken down on the 700 block of 2nd Avenue Southeast. The officer found the signs on the ground and in the roadway. They were removed from the roadway.
DROWSY: An officer was contacted by a Front Street Market employee regarding a suspicious vehicle. The car had been parked, running, with someone slumped over the wheel. On contact the driver stated he was driving home to Sammamish and became tired, so he pulled over to sleep.
RESPONSIBLE: An officer responded to a suspiciously parked vehicle on the 600 block of Mountain Fury Circle Southwest. On contact, the owner of the vehicle said he attended a party near the location the previous night and didn’t want to drive after drinking. He returned to the location and moved the car.
YOU PUT YOUR LEFT FOOT IN: A caller reported a man jumping in and out of traffic on the 1700 block of 4th Avenue Northwest near Interstate Highway 90. An officer was unable to locate the man.
Nov. 2
NEGGATIVE: A man reported five kids had egged his car on the 1800 block of 12th Avenue Northeast. The man was able to remove the egg and had no permanent damage to his vehicle.
HOOLIGANS: An officer responded to the 700 block of 2nd Avenue Southeast, where a person had been reported threatening the referee of a soccer game.
Nov. 3
DUI: A 25-year-old man was arrested near Northwest Gilman Boulevard for driving under the influence.
SHOPLIFTING: An officer responded to a theft in progress at a shop on the 100 block of Front Street South. A juvenile suspect was cited for shoplifting and making false or misleading statements to a public official. The case was forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor.
SMASH: A vehicle window was damaged during a suspected vehicle prowl on the 18600 block of Southeast Newport Way, at a total loss of $500.
Nov. 4
FRAUD: A complainant reported receiving a fraudulent call from someone claiming to be with Puget Sound Energy. The caller demanded a payment, but the complainant verified their account was up to date.
BAD CONDUCT: $1,900 of copper wire was stolen from an address on the 6000 block of 221st Place Southeast.
Nov. 5
RECOVERY: An officer recovered a vehicle originally stolen in Bellevue. The car had sustained damage and numerous items not belonging to the victim were retained. The vehicle was reunited with the victim.
STOLEN CAR: A Chevy Malibu was reported stolen from the 300 block of Northwest Dogwood Street at a total loss of $14,000.
DEAR JOHN: An officer trespassed a transient male who had locked himself in a restroom on the 100 block of Northeast Creek Way.
Nov. 6
CHARM, UNWANTED: An officer responded to Wildwood Boulevard Southwest and Mountainside Drive South, where three people were reported waving at traffic. They were asked to stop waving and move on.
PROWL: More than $1,000 of various items were stolen from a Mercedes Benz parked on the 23600 block of Southeast Evans Street.
