The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust is hosting a 20th anniversary photo contest.
“It’s the perfect occasion to celebrate and document the incredible scenery as well as the wide range of stories that make the Greenway such a unique and important landscape,” said Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust Executive Director Cynthia Welti.
The contest is open to amateur and professional photographers and has several categories. The contest opens March 15 and closes July 15.
In addition to first place prizes, the top 30 entries will have the opportunity to be shown in an exhibition tour.
“The great thing about this event is that we are celebrating the art and scenery of the Greenway, but also celebrating the creativity and passion of the people who live and visit here,” Welti said. “We also hope to see photographs of people interacting with the landscape.”
The trust focuses on preservation, regional trail systems and new parks.
