With construction of the Interstate 90 undercrossing adjacent to the U.S. Post Office on Gilman Boulevard getting underway last week, motorists can expect delays at night and in the early morning this week.
During the week of May 10 -14 there will be lane restrictions along Gilman Boulevard from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. for utility work.
This construction project will provide a two-lane arterial connection under I-90, joining the area north of the freeway with downtown Issaquah to the south. The new roadway will form a tee intersection at SE 62nd and continue northerly along 221st Place SE to terminate at SE 56th Street.
