At its regular meeting this coming Monday, Aug. 16, the City of Issaquah Council will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed Issaquah Highlands/Park Pointe Transfer of Development Rights Agreement (TDR).

The plan, which city, King County, and Port Blakely staff have been working on since 2009, would allow the city to preserve more about 140 acres of open space, including Park Pointe on the edge of Tiger Mountain, as well as provide greater density allocations for Port Blakely, the master developer of the Issaquah Highlands.

Any interested individuals may make a comment at the public hearing, which will begin at 7:30 p.m., and which will be held in the council chambers at 135 East Sunset Way. For more information, contact Keith Niven at 425-837-3430, or e-mail keithn@ci.issaquah.wa.us.
