Scott Petersen, a first-year Technology Education teacher at Eastlake High School, was awarded the Washington Industrial Technology Education Association Rookie Teacher of the Year award March 15 in Wenatchee. Peterson has taken the lead to update the Technology Education Program at Eastlake.
