Clare Vicky Nuss of Sammamish has received a $1,000 Woodring College of Education Elementary Education Scholarship for the 2014-2015 academic year. She is the daughter of Thomas and Kathleen Nuss of Sammamish.

The Woodring College Elementary Education Scholarship is established for any student enrolled in a Woodring College Elementary Education program that intends to teach at the elementary level.

Nuss, a senior, majors in elementary education, history, and has a literacy endorsement, is on the president’s list, a member of the Western chapter of Pi Lambda Thata, volunteered with Compass 2 Campus and hopes to become an elementary school teacher.
