Eastlake remains perfect

Eastside drops a close one to North Mason

Eastside Catholic battled from behind, but couldn’t overcome a slow start Friday, falling 31-28 at home to North Mason.

The Crusaders trailed 17-0 at halftime, before rallying for two unanswered scores to start the second half. Quarterback Connor McCormick found wide receiver Luke Nelson for a 12-yard TD, and then Alec Kimble for a 21-yard score.
