Oct. 8
STARBUCKS FIGHT: At 11:17 a.m., a Sammamish man was arrested for his alleged role in a fight at the Starbucks located in the 600 block of 228th Ave. NE.
Oct. 11
SLEEPING AT THE Y: At 5 a.m., police responded to a report of trespassing at the Sammamish Y, located in the 800 block of 228th Ave. SE. A homeless man was found sleeping in one of the downstairs aerobic rooms. No charges were filed.
Oct. 14
SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALL: At approximately 8:30 a.m., a Sammamish man received a phone call in which he heard a female crying in the background. A male subject stated, “We have your daughter. She’s been kidnapped. Do you want her back?” The Sammamish man hung up immediately and contacted his daughter, who was in a meeting and alerted her father that she was alright. The Sammamish man then called 911 to report the incident.

ASSAULT, CUTTING: At 4:07 p.m., police responded to an assault report at the August Moon restaurant, located in the 2900 block of 228th Ave. SE. A verbal dispute between two male employees turned physical with weapons involved.
Oct. 17
BURGLARY AT CONSTRUCTION SITE: At 6:59 a.m., police responded to reports of a burglary at the site of new construction homes in the 21300 block of 213th 1st Place.
LOADED GUNS STOLEN: At 6:28 p.m., a man reported his vehicle was prowled outside the Pine Lake Starbucks, located at 3016 Issaquah-Pine Lake Road SE. Two loaded guns were stolen from the vehicle.
Oct. 18
SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE AT KLAHANIE PLAZA: At 3:45 a.m., police responded to a suspicious vehicle behind Anytime Fitness at 4524 Klahanie Drive SE. The driver and passenger did not have Sammamish addresses and the driver had a history of mail theft in the city of Covington. No mail items were found inside the vehicle.
Oct. 19
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES OUTSIDE QFC: At 7:23 a.m. employees at the Pine Lake QFC located at 2902 228th Ave. SE reported a female had been asleep in her running vehicle since 2 a.m. While investigating, police found another vehicle with a man sleeping inside. The man said he’d been there since 9 p.m.
Oct. 20
FRAUD: At 10:05 a.m., a resident in the 1700 block of E. Beaver Lake Drive SE reported an Amazon credit card had been fraudulently opened in their name.
SWITCHED PLATES: At 4:39 p.m., a black pickup truck was stopped for having switched plates. The driver was arrested on a criminal warrant and for driving with a suspended license and booked into King County Jail.
Oct. 22
CAR PROWLS: At 7:05 a.m., police responded to a report of a car prowl in the 25800 block of SE 41st St. The suspect prowled the car by breaking its windows. An unlocked car prowl was reported in the 3300 block of 217th Place NE. A prowl from a locked vehicle was reported in the 24800 block of NE 2nd Ct.
AUTO THEFT: At 9:41 a.m., a car was reported stolen from the 25700 block of SE 41st St.
BURGLARY: At 10:58 a.m., police responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 25700 block of SE 40th St. The suspect used a garage door opener to enter the premises, prowled several vehicles and stole a bicycle.
