Yeehaw! The Issaquah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center’s Country Fair is happening Wed. Aug. 10.
The down-home event promises to be full of good old-fashioned fun, with fair games, a petting zoo, food, prizes and more. Attendees can try their hand at the bean bag toss, hear what the fortune teller has to tell them, or even toss a pie at a face. Nachos, cotton candy and lemonade will be served to residents and staff.
The event will be attracting some local VIPS; 5th District Representative and Senate candidate Chad Magendanz will be in attendance, and Issaquah Mayor Fred Butler has been invited.
Staff working at the fair may wear nice jeans with a country-style shirt, such as a plaid button-down.
The fair runs 2:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the back parking lot of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Saddle up your horse and ride on down to the fair for a grand ol’ time!
