LifeWay Christian Resources is set to simulcast Bible teacher and best-selling author Priscilla Shirer from Reading, Pennsylvania, at host church Issaquah Christian Church on May 14.

Shirer, sponsored by Nashville-based publishing company LifeWay Christian Resources, will feature her dynamic storytelling and passionate Bible teaching.

“I always feel the Holy Spirit moving in my life every time I hear Priscilla,” simulcast attendee Cindi Rush said in a press release from the church. “She is so infectious. It makes me want to tell everyone about Jesus.”

The event, which also features a unique prayer time, both challenges and encourages women to grow deeply in their faith.

Shirer has authored a number of published Bible studies, books and devotionals specifically for women, including Bible studies such as “Armor of God” and “Gideon: Your Weakness.” She also recently starred in the Christian film “War Room.” Shirer’s organization, Going Beyond Ministries, is based out of Dallas.

Priscilla’s younger brother, Anthony Evans, will lead worship for the event. Evans was featured on NBC’s reality show “The Voice” a few years ago and is also a Christian recording artist.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Issaquah Christian Church, 10328 Issaquah-Hobart Road. This is an opportunity for fellowship with other women in and around Issaquah.
