Please elect Lisa Wellman as senator in the 41st District. I met her in 2000 when she was the CEO of Deep Canyon. She had just finished as vice president for Apple’s creative markets and was in my CEO workshop.

Wow, was I impressed. She was working to raise money but all the funding had dried up in the dot bomb and she handled that brilliantly.

She was strategic, effective and compassionate. She was transparent with employees and had a plan to ensure that no employee would be left high and dry. That gave employees confidence to stay and help her. In an era when employees were jumping ship as dot com companies crashed, she retained her employees until they could wrap things up responsibly. It was the most impressive thing I saw in 25 years of management consulting.

Lisa has helped craft smart, effective solutions for many of the state’s challenges. She will listen, care and come up with brilliant solutions to our problems.
