With no reports of power outages in Sammamish, the city of Sammamish elected not to open City Hall on Sunday.

The city announced Friday afternoon that City Hall would be open for residents experiencing power outages through the weekend due to anticipated high winds and storm conditions. As of Sunday morning, the Puget Sound Energy outage map showed no outages in the Sammamish area.

The city closed all parks this weekend due to storm concerns. On its website, the city stated that crews were sweeping Sammamish parks Sunday morning to evaluate them for safety, and that parks will open after they are deemed safe. Parks will be closed as long as their parking lot gates remain closed.
