Sammamish police arrested a 26-year-old Lakewood man for possession of heroin in the 25200 block of Klahanie Blvd. on March 15.
Around 1:30 a.m., a caller reported an SUV parked and idling in a handicapped stall at the Sundance Condominiums. The caller had never seen the vehicle before.
Police found two people in the car when they arrived on scene, a 24-year-old Auburn woman and the 26-year-old man.
The man, who had a warrant for his arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia out of Issaquah, originally gave his brother’s name to police, according to reports.
The Lakewood man was “stuffing items” away when the officers approached, according to the report.
The woman told police she had just dropped a friend off at the condominiums, but was unable to recall which apartment her friend lived in.
Officers noticed the Lakewood man’s pupils were constricted and that he had track marks on both of his arms.
When asked, the man produced a used needle, foil, alcohol wipes and a “burned plastic pen tube,” the police reports state. The pen tube had black residue inside of it, which the officer identified as heroin.
Police booked the man into the Issaquah Jail on his warrant. The man awaits charges related to the felony possession of heroin.
