HALLOWEEN HAVOC: At 8:40 a.m., police responded to a report of vandalism at the Beaver Lake Lodge, located in the 25200 block of SE 24th St. Someone had thrown a ladder through a glass window of the lodge and spray-painted “666” on the front door. Damages were estimated to be around $700.

DOIN’ DRUGS: At 3:10 p.m., narcotics activity was reported at the Papa John’s in Sammamish, located in the 700 block of 228th Ave. NE.

BURGLARY: At 11:16 a.m., police responded to reports of a residential burglary in the 4100 block of 209th Place NE. The homeowner recently passed away and her funeral was taking place the day police were contacted.
FAKE MONEY: A counterfeit $10 bill was found in the register at the UPS Store, located in the 4500 block of Klahanie Drive SE, during the nightly audit before closing.
DRIVING HIGH: At 10:48 p.m., a driver stopped for traffic in the 3900 block of 228th Ave. SE was found to be in possession of marijuana as well as under the influence.

DESPERATE FOR COLD RELIEF: At 1 p.m., a subject was arrested for shoplifting a box of Mucinex at the Rite Aid located in the 3000 block of Issaquah-Pine Lake Road.
BURGLARY: At 1:19 p.m., police responded to a burglary report in the 21200 block of NE 6th St. The suspect entered the residence’s garage and took Makita power tools.

RECKLESS DRIVING: At 10:08 p.m., a youth subject was stopped for reckless driving in the 400 block of 228th Ave. SE, going 80 mph in a posted 40 mph zone and conducting illegal lane changes with three occupants. The youth subject was released to his parents.
Nov. 4
LICENSE VIOLATIONS: At 12:40 a.m., a driver was arrested in the 2800 block of 228th Ave. SE for failing to transfer their vehicle’s title within 45 days and also driving with a suspended license. The driver was issued a citation for not providing insurance. A licensed driver was on the scene, so the vehicle was not impounded.
NO MUD FLAPS, NO TITLE: At 5 p.m., a driver was stopped at Northeast 16th Street and 244th Avenue Northeast for having no mud flaps and failing to signal a turn. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license and failing to transfer their vehicle title within 45 days.
JEWELRY THEFT: At 5:55 p.m., police responded to a report of jewelry theft in the 23100 block of NE 18th Place. The reporting party told police the jewelry was left out while cleaners were at her residence. She verified that they were present before she left the house and were gone upon her return.

FRAUD: A victim in the 19500 block of SE 23rd St. was contacted to deposit a check and return the amount that was above the portion she was paid for tutoring.
UNLOCKED CAR PROWL: At 11 a.m., a subject was arrested after being found inside a victim’s vehicle in the 2500 block of E. Beaver Lake Road. The subject took items and was also in possession of stolen mail.
