LETTER — Calling out drivers who text, call while driving

Please resubmit your letter in the body of an email message to letters@issaquahreporter.com.

Straddling the fog line while driving is not for your multitasking pleasure. My husband and our friends ride to work exactly where you act like it’s safe to text, read email or check notes on a conference call. I’m speaking to you Mr. Middle age white male, with male pattern baldness driving a silver Camry, Thursday morning May 7 from 8:50-9:10 for 2.4 miles on 228th Ave NE to Sahalee Way NE to Redmond Fall City Rd. I’m speaking to you 20-40 something male with short dark hair driving a low profile faded red car on the same path north, also going south up Sahalee Way NE in the evening. I’m speaking to you Mr. Brand New Black Corvette on I-90 west bound between Exit 15-13, May 1 after 3pm. Pay attention to what you are doing and stop fooling yourself.
