The national burger chain Five Guys is continuing its expansion into Western Washington with a new storefront at the Issaquah Commons.
The burger joint, known for its simplistic menu, is expected to open mid-May.
The West Coast fast-food chain is known for using fresh ingredients, never frozen beef, and having a white board stating where the day’s potatoes came from.
The menu is simple, and so are the prices. A little extra for cheese and bacon, but all the rest of the ingredients come with the burger.
A large order of French fries comes scooped into a cup and dumped into a paper bag, that inevitably becomes greasy with peanut oil, the preferred choice for frying.
Not interested in fries? Have all the salty peanuts you’d like for free.
Further north another Five Guys is expected to open at the Overlake Fashion Plaza in Redmond near the Bellevue city line.
