PARTY BREAK: At 10:11 p.m., police responded to a report of a possible underage party taking place at a vacant house in the 700 block of 214th Ave. SE. When police arrived, they discovered the house had a shattered sliding glass door, though no subjects were located inside the house.
Feb. 9
ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING: At 7:47 p.m., police received a report of an accidental shooting at Eastlake High School. A man accidentally shot himself in the hand while trying to disassemble his Glock 42 pistol. The man drove himself to Evergreen Hospital for treatment.
Feb. 11
MAIL THEFT: At 9:55 a.m., a suspected mail theft was reported in the 1600 block of 195th Ave. SE. Police reported prying tools were likely used to open the mailbox.
Feb. 12
MAIL DUMP: At 3:48 a.m., stolen mail was found dumped in the QFC parking lot at 4570 Klahanie Drive SE. Police believe the stolen mail was possibly related to previous mail theft cases.
Feb. 13
SPEEDING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE: At 5:20 a.m., a driver stopped for speeding in the 300 block of 228th Ave. SE was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver who arrived on the scene.
Feb. 15
STRANGER DANGER: A male, not identified as a staff member, was reported to be hanging out by the portables late at night at Discovery Elementary School, located at 2300 228th Ave. SE.
