Feb. 14

STOLEN PHONE STING: At 2:38 p.m., police received a report of recovered stolen property. A subject discovered another friend stole an acquaintance’s phone. The subject set up a sting operation to steal back the phone at a Safeway parking lot. The phone was retrieved, but the subject’s driver-side window was damaged during the sting. A passerby at the parking lot reported the incident.

Feb. 22

SUSPENDED LICENSE: At 7:16 p.m., a subject was arrested during a traffic stop in the 3200 block of 228th Ave. SE for driving with a suspended license. Inside the subject’s vehicle, police found beer bottles and drug paraphernalia, though the subject showed no signs of being intoxicated. The subject was arrested and booked into Issaquah Jail.

Feb. 23

THAT’S A LOT OF ITEMS: At 11:25 p.m., police arrested a female shoplifter who had stolen nearly $800 worth of merchandise from the Pine Lake QFC. Police reported the shoplifter had been seen exiting the store with a large purse overfilled with items. She was booked into King County Jail.

Feb. 26

BURGLARY: At 3:15 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 4700 block of 245th Lane SE. The burglary took place while the residents were away on vacation.

Feb. 27

WET BANDITS: At 9:45 a.m., police received a report that a house under construction in the 27200 block of SE 19th Place had been unlawfully entered. The water had been turned on and left running, causing severe water damage. Police reported there was no sign of forced entry.

PACKAGE THEFT: At 10:12 a.m., a package theft was reported from the front porch of a residence in the 3800 block of 206th Place NE.

Feb. 28

DRIVING IN THE DARK: At 2 a.m., a driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license in the 2900 block of 228th Ave. SE. The vehicle was stopped for operating without headlights during the early morning hours.

March 1

IDENTITY THEFT: At 4:55 p.m., police received a report that an unknown person attempted to open a Visa with Chase bank using a resident’s name.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT: At 5:50 p.m., a subject in the 24700 block of NE 3rd Place attempted suicide by ingesting pills. The subject was transported to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah.

March 2

LEAF BLOWER STOLEN: At 2:34 p.m., a leaf blower was reported stolen off the sidewalk at a work site at 19100 NE 45th Place.

March 4

IDENTITY THEFT: At 8:58 a.m., a resident in the 1300 block of 208th Ave. NE reported an unknown subject attempted to open credit card accounts in their name and opened a bank account.

CAR PROWL: At 11:28 a.m., a resident in the 1800 block of 211th Ave. SE reported an unknown subject entered their open garage and rummaged through their unlocked vehicle. No items were reported stolen.
