As of Tuesday, King County Elections staff counted more than 467,608 ballots submitted in the Nov. 3 election.
There are nearly 1.2 million registered voters. This election, thus far, has had an overall 39.17 percent voter turnout.
Results in all area races are official Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Sammamish City Council race results:
There are 28,745 residents registered to vote in Sammamish. King County Elections counted 10,238 ballots; that is a 35.62 percent voter turnout.
- Position 2: Christie Malchow leads with 58.46 percent, or 5,527 votes, to Mark Cross’ 41.37 percent, or 3,911 votes. A total of 9,454 votes were submitted.
- Position 4: Incumbent Ramiro Valderrama-Aramayo has 83.30 percent approval, that is 7,550 votes, to Hank Klein’s 16.02 percent, or 1,452 votes, with 9,064 total votes tallied.
- Position 6: Mayor Tom Vance trails with 4,273 votes, 45.86 percent, to opponent Tom Hornish’s 5,022 votes, or 53.90 percent, out of 9,318 votes counted.
Issaquah City Council race results:
There are 19,906 residents registered to vote in Issaquah. King County Elections counted 6,659 ballots; that is a 33.45 percent voter turnout.
- Position 2: Jennifer Sutton, who ran unopposed, has a 98.31 percent approval, with 4,301 out of 4,375 total votes tallied.
- Position 4: Bill Ramos leads with 62.86 percent, or 3,629 votes, to opponent Tim Flood’s 36.76 percent, or 2,122 votes, out of 5,773 total votes recorded.
- Position 6: Issaquah City Council President Paul Winterstein leads with 54.33 percent, that is 3,060 votes, to Christopher Reh’s 45.19 percent, or 2,545 votes, out of a total of 5,632 votes counted.
