The city of Sammamish has a new after-hours phone number.

Call 425-295-0700 to report things like road blocks, flooding, illegal tree cutting, downed signs, dead animals in the road or any other general hazard over the weekend or after normal business hours.

Someone will answer any hour of the day on weekends and between 3:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. Monday through Friday.

“This is not a substitute for 9-1-1,” a city press release stated. “If your life is in danger or you see a crime being committed, call 9-1-1.”
