June 26
REASON TO BE FORE-LORN: Items totaling $145 were reported stolen from a golf cart during a burglary on the 300 block of Northwest Dogwood Street.
MEDS: $500 of prescription medication was reported stolen from a location on the 900 block of 10th Place Northeast.
IT HAPPENS: Police responded to a man who had reported a suspicious person in the area and hid in the bathroom of a business on the 1400 block of 10th Way Northeast. Police did not find anyone and the man conceded he had been doing “a lot of drugs” that day. Police escorted him out of the business and he left the area.
June 27
PARAPHERNALIA: A 32-year-old Bellevue man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of West Sunset Way.
THE LONG DARK: Outdoor lights were reported stolen from the 2500 block of Northeast Daphne Street.
THEFT: A 19-year-old Issaquah woman was arrested for theft on the 6100 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast.
June 28
SUSPENDED: A 56-year-old Duvall man was arrested at the intersection of State Route 900 and Gilman Boulevard for driving while his license was suspended.
June 29
PROWL: A laptop and bag valued at $450 were reported stolen from BMW X54 parked on the 1700 block of Larch Avenue Northeast.
THAT WAS A FREEBIE: A 25-year-old Bellevue man was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault on the 100 block of East Sunset Way, the location of the Issaquah Police Department.
June 30
FESTIVE: An officer responded to the 200 block of Southwest Clark Street where a woman reported someone had attempted to light several strung-together firecrackers outside her building. She said a friend doused water on the fireworks before they could ignite.
TOO MUCH: Eastside Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the 300 block of Rainier Boulevard South to assess an extremely intoxicated man. They transported him to Swedish hospital for treatment.
July 1
RUSHOMON: A driver reported a speeding vehicle traveling Southeast 56th Street and followed it to the 23200 block of Southeast 53rd Street, asking for an officer to talk to the driver about traveling at a safe speed. The officer contacted the driver, who said he became concerned for his safety when someone began tailgating him all the way home and drove faster to escape the apparent pursuit.
