Skyline conquers rival Newport
The Skyline Spartans registered a 27-17 victory against the Newport Knights on Sept. 8 in Sammamish. Skyline (1-1 overall) will face the Bothell Cougars at 7 p.m. on Sept. 16 at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.
Eastside Catholic dominates Skyview in non-league contest
The Eastside Catholic Crusaders defeated the Skyview Storm 49-21 in a non-league contest on Sept. 8 in Vancouver. Eastside Catholic (2-0) will host the Union Titans in a non-league contest at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 at Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish.
Falcons defeat Wolves
The Woodinville Falcons earned a 41-16 win against the Eastlake Wolves in matchup between two top tier KingCo 4A football programs on Sept. 9. Eastlake (1-1) will host the Mount Si Wildcats at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 at Eastlake High School in Sammamish.
Issaquah captures first win
The Issaquah Eagles cruised to a 49-7 victory against the Inglemoor Vikings on Sept. 8 at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell. Issaquah (1-1) will face the Newport Knights at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 at Newport High School in Factoria.

Spartans dominate Vikings
The Skyline Spartans defeated the Inglemoor Vikings 5-0 in the season opener on the soccer field on Sept. 5. Alison Kremer scored a game-high three goals in the win for Skyline. Maddie Butz and Katelyn Reilly each scored a goal apiece as well. Claire Wate and McKenna Ross each had one assist.

The Eastlake Wolves captured a 2-1 win against North Creek on Sept. 7. Eastlake (1-0-1) will face the Inglemoor Vikings at 1 p.m. on Sept. 16 at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell.
Crusaders experience a stalemate on the soccer field
In the first contest of the 2017 season, the Eastside Catholic Crusaders and West Seattle battled to a 2-2 tie on Sept. 7. Eastside Catholic will face Seattle Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 at Lower Woodland Park in Seattle.
