It’s that time of year again: When you can walk down Front Street with a wine glass, free of judgment.
The Downtown Issaquah Association will hold the first walk of its fourth season of Wine Walks this Friday, Feb. 6.
During wine walk, vintners partner with Olde Town businesses and nonprofits to transform their storefronts into tasting rooms. Ticketed visitors will be able to fill up their glass (you’ll need to bring your own) and listen to live music or watch art demonstrations.
Participating wineries this Friday include Armstrong Cellars, Stomani Cellars, Sol Stone Winery, Sigillo Cellars, Tiger Mountain Winery, Piccola Cellars and Patterson Cellars.
Venues are ArtByFire Glass Blowing Studio, Illuminate, artEAST Art Center, First Stage Theater, Pelage Spa, Fischer Meat and handmade goods merchant So, There.
Musical acts will include The Mini-Redondoes at Illuminate, Like Minds at Pelage Spa, Travis Harnett Trio at artEAST and The Dave Card Trio at First Stage Theatre.
Local artists will be on hand at artEAST to discuss their projects. ArtByFire will host a live glass blowing demonstration on site.
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets come with 10 drink tokens. Reservations can be made at downtownissaquah.com.
