Congratulations to city of Issaquah Mayor Mary Lou Pauly for her sense of optimism and enthusiasm about our future, for all her good intentions and keeping her campaign promises to make Issaquah a better place to live.

The city’s transportation and traffic are very crucial in most areas, but especially to the Highlands, where the danger of flow traffic makes it very hard for the surrounding area. We need to add more alternative roads to keep traffic flowing. We need to keep the city’s natural beauty. Keeping everyone safe should always be a priority.

Being a mayor is the most difficult position trying to accommodate everyone needs. My best regards to the new Issaquah mayor, and I know she will try her best.

Thank you City Council for adding three new police positions. Working together as a community always brings in solutions.
