One night after suffering a 3-1 loss to rival Skyline, the Issaquah baseball season came to an end.

The Eagles fell 7-3 to Lake Washington Tuesday in a loser-out playoff game, missing an opportunity to return the state tournament.

The Kangs used a balanced attack with eight different players combining for 12 hits and seven different players scoring runs.

Spencer Rogers led Issaquah at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI. Senior Devin O’Donnell also had two hits and a double. The Eagles finished their season at 17-6.

This marks only the fifth time in the last 17 seasons head coach Rob Reese has missed the state playoffs.
