And on Tuesday evening, the Emerald City Sun Tanning center, in the Town and Country Square shopping center at 1175 NW Gilman Blvd., was robbed at gunpoint.

An Emerald City employee said at approximately 9:37 p.m. a man entered the business acting as a potential customer.

According to a report by Issaquah Police, the man then displayed a handgun, demanded cash and ordered the employee to the rear of the business.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

He was wearing a dark baseball hat, black T-shirt and camouflage, knee length shorts at the time of the incident, according to the police.

Police searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. Commander Scott Berhbaum said officers processed the scene and are waiting to see if they get any more information from those tests. The tanning center continues to be open for business.

The suspect fled the scene northbound.

Police conducted an area check with assistance from the Normandy Park Police Department K9 unit.
