The event is from 1-3 p.m., admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

“What a wonderful gift to our residents to have this dynamic and eclectic creative work in our hallways,” said Karla Heath, Marianwood Administrator. “It adds so much enjoyment to our days and the artists’ reception is a great time to invite the greater community into our home to share in enjoying this beautiful art show.”

The exhibit will show through the end of April, daily, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Artists include local artists Sydnie Ryan, Kail-Tucker and Margaret “Joyce” Van Duine.

Michelle Sydnie Ryan is a self taught Northwest artist inspired by nearly everything in her daily life.

Catherine Kail-Tucker is an etcher and printmaker who moved to Issaquah in 1999 from Dallas. She uses vintage etching methods by employing sturdy tools and archival materials.

Margaret “Joyce” Van Duine starts with clear glass as her canvas. She hand-paints each piece using the revisited ancient technique of reverse painting.
