Only a handful of conference meets remain in the prep track season and a host from Issaquah and Sammamish have times and marks among the best in 4A KingCo.
Troy and Drew Lewis of Eastlake are in the top-five in the 100 meters and Troy has the top time in the league in the 200.
Teammate Josh Horton and brother Drew also own top-10 times in the 200, as does Skyline’s Trevon Clark.
Clark trails only a pair of Garfield runners in the 400, while Matt Morrison (Eastlake), Kenny Norton (Issaquah) and Andrew Millett (Skyline) are also in the top-10.
Jordan Oldenburg has the second fastest time in the 800 for Eastlake and Keegan Symmes of Skyline is second in the 3200 and seventh in the 1600.
The Wolves and Spartans have ran the second and third fastest times respectively in the 400 meter relay, with Liam Doyle, Horton, Nicholas Randolph and Alexander Choe for Eastlake and Justin Mach, Blake Young, Millett and Clark for Skyline.
Clark has teamed with Lorenzo Agogliati, Grant Uselman and Blake Hallauer in the 1600 meter relay, where Skyline is behind only Garfield’s foursome. Issaquah’s Jake Nienhuis, Caleb Walin, Ray Littles and Norton have the fifth best time in the event.
Bryan Lee is fourth for Skyline in the shot put and third in the discus, just in front of teammate Garrett Corlis and Eastlake’s Michael Bennett and Joseph Ellis.Corlis leads the way in the javelin, more than two feet in front of his closest KingCo competitor.
Daniel Brady (Eastlake) and Andrew Larsen (Issaquah) own top-five marks in the high jump and Larsen is second in the conference in the pole vault. The Wolves also own all five of the top distances in the hammer throw, with Ellis leading the way.
On the girls side, Issaquah’s depth has led the way thus far, with returning state competitor Gabrielle Gevers the owner of the second fastest time in the 100 meters and a top-five mark in the 200.
Skyline’s Alexis Daugherty is fourth in the 400 meters, just in front of Issaquah’s Juliana da Cruz. Dorie Dalzell (Skyline), and the Issaquah duo of Mack Wieburg and Gevers also own top-10 times in the 400.
Daugherty is just tenths of a second off the second best time in the 800, and Issaquah’s Cayla Seligman is fifth in the event and seventh in the 1600.
Ellie Clawson is second in the 3200 and returning state competitor Anastasia Kosykh is sixth for Eastlake.
Ellie Woerner (Eastlake) and Lauren Bruner (Issaquah) are in the top five in the 100 meter hurdles, with Woerner also the owner of the fastest mark in the 300 hurdles. Grace Englund, Cruz, Wieburg and Gevers are just in front of second-place Inglemoor in the 800 meter relay, with Skyline’s group of Daugherty, Dalzell, Kaylie Greninger and Brandy Hughes third. The same group is second in the 1600 meter relay and Mckenzie Deutsch replaces Brandy Hughes for Skyline, which is third.
Vaiva Snapkauskaite is second for Skyline in the discus and Wieburg leads the way in the high jump for Issaquah, just in front of Eastlake’s Nicole Radar.
Mckenna Hogan owns the best mark in the long jump for Issaquah and is third in the triple jump for the Eagles.
