The Rogue Issaquah Brewhouse closed on Friday, March 6, marking 19 years in the community.

The closing was announced on Monday of that week by Rogue president Dharma Tamm in an email.

“This pub opened in 2001 and it has been an absolute pleasure to serve the Issaquah community, tourists and life-long Rogue fans for the past 19 years,” Tamm said in the email. “We wouldn’t have continued our operations this long without you, so thanks to our exceptional pub staff and ever-loyal Issaquah community.”

According to the Rogue website, their other locations are in Oregon, where the company started. Rogue drinks are sold in various stores across Washington.

“This was a very difficult decision, but unfortunately rising costs have made it apparent that it is our best option to close the Issaquah Brewhouse in order to better focus on our other public houses and production,” Tamm said. “We have offered jobs to all Rogue Issaquah employees at one of our other pubs and hope to keep them as a part of our family. We cannot thank our team enough for (their) passion and support for the Rogue brand.”
