Brandon Mahovlich kept the Eagles in the winner’s bracket with a complete game three hitter, striking out nine and walking four in the process.

Ethan Kalin tripled and homered for Issaquah and finished the afternoon with three RBI. Andrew Kemmerer, Jack Gellatly and Mitchell Morimoto each had an RBI in the win.

Bothell, which defeated Skyline 5-4 in another quarterfinal, awaits with a spot in the state tournament on the line tonight at 7 p.m. at Woodinville High School. Newport and Redmond will meet in the other semi-final.
