The 2021 Salmon Open Golf Tournament is set to begin on Friday, May 21 at Mount Si Golf Course.
The fundraising event is back for the second year in a row following a several year hiatus.
Amber Libenson, Special Events Manager for the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, said more than 50 people are already registered to compete for prizes and bragging rights.
She said while the registration deadline was originally advertised as May 10, they will extend the deadline for new participants to register until Monday, May 17.
Libenson said she hopes 100 people register to play in the 18-hole scramble-style tournament.
Teams can be up to three members, and the entry fee is $125 per person, which includes green fees, prizes and a boxed lunch.
Snoqualmie Casino, American Family Insurance and The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring the event.
Additionally, Libenson said Evergreen Ford/Chevrolet/Lincoln is sponsoring three hole-in-ones. Players get a chance to win a Ford Ranger, Lincoln Corsair or Chevy car for stroking a hole-in-one.
