Drivers should plan for short delays on State Route 900 tonight, March 8.

Weather permitting, crews will alternate one-way traffic on SR 900 between Newport Way and Tibbett’s Creek bridge from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. while they pave the highway.

Weekday lane closures on SR 900 continue this week. Crews will alternate one-way traffic from Newport Way to Talus Drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

This work is part of the SR 900 Newport Way to SE 78th Street widening project. Weather permitting, crews are on track to open the new lanes to traffic by April. They’ll complete final paving and striping work later this spring.
