AnnieLorlei Hoffman and Juliana da Cruz netted scores for Issaquah and helped the Eagles into the quarterfinals of the 4A girls soccer state tournament with a 2-0 win over previously unbeaten Gig Harbor.
The win will send Issaquah to a matchup with Central Valley, which won its first round game 5-2 over Auburn.
Skyline also picked up a win on the road to keep its season and state title defense alive, topping Union 2-1 in Vancouver.
Anna Deweirdt put in the first score on a Bianca Saint assist and Rachel Shim added the would-be game winner from Deweirdt.
The Spartans will meet Puyallup, a 2-1 first round winner over Cascade, for a spot in the 4A state semi-finals.
