Issaquah’s Eastside Baby Corner, which partners with WestSide Baby as Side by Side Northwest to provide free diapers to needy families, together received received one million diapers Tuesday, May 6, from the National Diaper Bank Network and Huggies.

It is the second year of a two year, two million diaper pledge that the diaper network made to Side by Side Northwest.

“This generous donation from Huggies and The National Diaper Bank Network, along with our partnership with WestSide Baby, enables us to stretch our dollars to increase the number of diapers we are able to provide children in need,” said Eastside Baby Corner Executive Director, Renee Zimmerman. “It allows us to spend our resources on other high-needs items, like formula, cribs and car seats. Essentially, it does nothing less than ensure the sustainability of Eastside Baby Corner and our mission.”
