Eastlake defeated Skyline 230-263 at the Plateau Club Monday afternoon. Medalist honors were shared by the Spartan’s Chelsea Guenette and the Wolve’s Dana Mydland, who both shot 43s. Eastlake’s other scores were Megan Wotherspoon and Emmie Schwartz (46), Hannah Ostic (47) and Tera Stenhouse (48). Skyline’s other scores were Ashley Young and Katie Johnson (53), Emily Baldwin (55) and Katelyn Smrecansky (59). Eastlake improved to 6-0 in league matches, while Skyline moved to 2-4.

Eastlake shuts out Roosevelt

Eastlake defeated Roosevelt 2-0 Tuesday night at EHS. The Wolves earned an unassisted goal from Kevin Braun in the 26th minute and a penalty kick goal from Nick Rudella. Goalkeeper Victor Kollar earned the shutout. Eastlake moved to 4-5-3 overall and 4-3-2 in league.

Issaquah ties Bothell

Issaquah earned a 1-1 tie with Bothell Tuesday night at Pop Keeney Stadium. The game remained scoreless until the 53rd minute when Bothell’s Cole Correll scored. The Eagles answered just two minutes later on a goal from Michael Axelson. The assist came off the foot of Lucas Morais. Issaquah is 9-3-2 overall and 4-3-2 in league.

Skyline downs Ballard

Skyline earned a 2-1 home victory over Ballard Tuesday night on goal from Evan Kamber in the final minute. Mitchell Kim scored in the 33rd minute to give Skyline the initial lead. Ballard tied it up in the 78th minute. Skyline is now 4-7-2 overall and 3-5-1 in league.

Issaquah splits pair

Issaquah lost 1-0 to Bothell in 10 innings on Monday, but battled back for a 10-0 five-inning victory over Garfield on Tuesday. The Eagles received a three-run double from Kenna Olsen, and Brianna Bray went 3-for-3 at the plate Tuesday. Bray also earned the win, allowing just two hits and no runs over five innings. Issaquah moved to 7-2 in league and 9-3 overall with the win.

Eastlake wins big on road

Eastlake knocked off Lake Washington 9-3 on Monday afternoon. Laura Bachman went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Nicole Guptil pitched all seven innings, striking out seven batters. Eastlake improved to 5-3 overall and 6-5 overall with the win.

Skyline falls to Inglemoor

Inglemoor jumped out to a fast start and held on for a 6-2 victory over Skyline Monday afternoon. The Vikings erupted for four runs in the first and never looked back. Brittney Randle was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Lindsey Nicholson was 2-for-4 with a two-run double. Lauren Richards pitched the final 4 1/3 innings, striking out seven and allowing just one hit. Skyline is now 2-7 in league and 3-10 overall.

Issaquah nets win over Sammamish

Issaquah defeated Sammamish 6-1 on Tuesday, earning wins from five individuals and one doubles team. Alyssa Wislon won 2-6, 6-1, 6-2; Selena Lustig won 1-6, 6-0, 6-4; Morgan Gierke won 6-0, 6-1; Ariel Hagen won 7-5, 6-1 and Dayna Bennett won 6-1, 6-1. The doubles team of Emma Haberlach and Katherine Allison also won 6-1, 6-2.
