Sammamish sets up storm debris drop-off locations for residents

People can bring their storm debris, including leaves, to a drop-off location Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The first site will be at East Sammamish Park, 21300 N.E. 16th Street, next to Margaret Mead Elementary, and the second will be at Beaver Lake Park, 2526 244th Ave. S.E., next to the ball park fields.

Due to the strong winds and heavy rain that hit the region earlier this week, the city of Sammamish has set up two storm debris drop-off locations for residents.

People can bring their storm debris, including leaves, to a drop-off location Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The first site will be at East Sammamish Park, 21300 N.E. 16th Street, next to Margaret Mead Elementary, and the second will be at Beaver Lake Park, 2526 244th Ave. S.E., next to the ball park fields.

Tree limbs greater than 3 inches in dimeter will not be accepted.

City staff will also not take lawn clippings and other logs.
