Issaquah overcame a two-touchdown deficit Saturday to come from behind and beat Olympia 34-28 in two overtimes on the road.
The Eagles trailed 21-7 headed into the fourth quarter before senior running back Taylor Wyman scored a 5-yard TD and broke off another run 61-yards to send the game into OT tied 21-21.
Issaquah struck first in the OT when quarterback Braden Bouwman connected with Chas Peterson for a 25-yard TD.
Olympia tied the contest on a 1-yard run from Spencer Killman.
The Eagles’ defense stopped the Bears on their next offensive series, and countered with a 4-yard TD from Wyman to win the game.
Issaquah (8-2) will now host Marysville-Pilchuck (7-3) at 7 p.m., Saturday in the opening round of the 4A state tournament.
