The Sammamish Symphony Orchestra will feature pianist Kimberly Russ in its MardiGras Concert at 2 p.m. Feb. 26.
She will perform Piano Concerto No. 1 in C Major.
Seattle Symphony Pianist Kimberly Russ is celebrating her 10th season playing with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Described as “absolutely dazzling,” Russ is continually in demand as soloist and collaborative pianist, appearing with the Seattle Philharmonic, Cascade, Sammamish, Port Angeles, and Central Florida symphonies.
Other performances have included private events for the Seattle Symphony, Vice President Al Gore, and Gov. Chris Gregoire.
Russ can be heard on recent recordings, Pura Vida, with Peter Ellefson, trombone, and the soon to be released, Short Stories, with Melia Watras, viola. She also performs with the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra.
