Eastlake led at the half and held off a late Newport charge to get the win in the matchup of 4A KingCo division leaders.
Maggie Douglas put in 16 points to lead the way and Ellie Woerner added 11 more for the Lady Wolves in the win.
Newport’s Chiara Victor scored 11 and Anna Crabtree added nine for the Knights.
Woodinville 72 Issaquah 51
The Eagles were unable to get past Woodinville despite 21 points from Mandie Hill in a 72-51 loss.
Redmond 42 Skyline 54
The Spartans got 12 from Shelby Kassuba, 11 from Alex Daugherty and 10 from Taylor McKerlich in the 54-42 win.
Eastside Catholic 57 Franklin 30
Kate Spires led three Crusaders in double figures with 17 points as Eastside Catholic picked up the lopsided win over Franklin.
Sterling Mclennan added 16 and Ashley Blanton scored 10 for EC in the win.

Issaquah 120 Garfield 49
Issaquah took wins in all but one event, including both relays, to race past Garfield in a KingCo dual meet.
Henry Pratt, Gabe Florsheim, Ben Nussbaum, Jason Klein, Keith Nussbaum and Alex Sun swam district qualifying times for the Eagles in the win.
Newport 115 Skyline 70
Skyline got only one win, from Paul Jett in the 50 yard freestyle, but got a host of postseason times in a dual meet loss to Newport.
Jett took the 50 free in 22.78 seconds, in an automatic state time.
Jacob Leahy and Ian Camal Sado were district qualifiers in the 200 free, and Jeremy Bradford swam a district time in the 200 individual medley.
Nick d’Alo was a district qualifier in the 50 free, where he was second.
