Police have yet to say why they think two Rainier Valley men targeted a Sammamish couple for a home invasion robbery Oct. 7.
Two men, ages 19 and 21, were arrested Friday. One was booked without potential for bail. Officers are still pursuing a third suspect.
After ringing the doorbell, the men allegedly pushed their way into the home, on the 700 block of 240th Way Southeast, and ordered the victims to the floor, according to a Sammamish Police press release.
A gun was fired in the home, after one of the victims challenged a suspect. No one was injured, and the bullet was recovered from a couch.
Believing the robbers targeted the home, police later discovered the victims knew the suspects. Details about that relationship have yet to be released, according to the release.
Police recovered a weapon from one of the two men arrested, and are planning to arrest a third man.
Charges with details of the incident could be filed as early as Wednesday.
