Resident pours gasoline on neighbor’s lawn | Sammamish Police blotter October 23-31

Reports were taken from King County Sheriff's Office incident logs

The blotter consists of Sammamish police officers’ accounts of crimes and other incidents in the city. Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

 

Oct. 23

FUELED RAGE: A resident of the 25700 block of Southeast 34th Street poured gasoline over his neighbor’s front lawn and displayed a handgun when Sammamish police arrived.

Oct. 26

GOLF BAGS AND A BIKE: An unknown person entered a garage in the 1700 block of 223rd Place Northeast and stole golf bags and a bicycle.

Oct. 27

OBVIOUSLY, IT WAS THE GARDEN GNOME: A resident in the 600 block of 234th Place Northeast reported items around the yard had been moved around two days in a row.

Oct. 28

SMASH AND GRAB: An unknown person smashed the front passenger window in the 500 block of 207th Avenue Northeast and removed the backpack sitting on the passenger floor board. The locked vehicle was parked in a cul-de-sac. The backpack contained medication and charging cords.

HIT AND RUN: An unknown person hit a parked vehicle in the 24800 block of Southeast 19th Street. The owner of the vehicle reported similar damage to his neighbor’s car.

Oct. 29

NEW ACCOUNTS: A Sammamish resident reported an unknown person opened two checking accounts and two savings accounts through USAA Bank using the victim’s information.

Oct. 30

MISSING PILLS: A resident in the Boulder Creek Apartments reported missing medications and said there are three possibilities to explain the matter: the cleaning service, the physical therapist and the wife, who has Alzheimer’s.

Oct. 31

PURSE: An unknown person in the 900 block of 210 Avenue Northeast smashed the rear door window of a white Lexus RX400 and stole a purse from within.
