The Issaquah Highlands Council will host the Ashland Park Festival of the Arts Fundraiser Block Party from 4-9 p.m. Aug. 15, at Ashland Park.

The purpose of this event is to bring neighbors together for a summer block party and conduct a fundraiser for future improvement projects in Ashland Park, such as a new play structure.

Residents are encouraged to bring their chairs, blankets, toys and picnic baskets to the park and enjoy entertainment provided by those in the neighborhood.
