Drivers should expect nighttime delays on SR 520, SR 202 and other city streets in Redmond as crews continue work to widen SR 520.

The closures will allow crews to install large bridge girders, demolish overpass edges and move large construction equipment into and out of the work zone. Signed detours will be in place for all closures.

• Monday, Aug. 24 – Thursday, Aug, 27: Westbound SR 520 will be closed at Avondale Road nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured onto NE 76th Street. Drivers should expect potentially long delays.

• Tuesday, Aug. 25

Eastbound SR 202 near SR 520 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be shifted onto westbound SR 202, maintaining one lane in each direction.

• Wednesday, Aug. 26

Westbound SR 202 near SR 520 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be shifted onto eastbound SR 202, maintaining one lane in each direction.

The flyover ramp from westbound SR 202 to westbound SR 520 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Thursday, Aug. 27

The flyover ramp from westbound SR 202 to westbound SR 520 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

NE 76th Street under SR 520 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Sunday, Aug. 30

West Lake Sammamish Parkway will be closed at SR 520 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. to move a large crane across the roadway.
