The city of Issaquah will outline its legislative agenda to lawmakers from the 5th and 41st legislative districts on Monday, discussing a list that runs the gamut from transportation, to environmental concerns, to public safety and more.

The 9 a.m. meeting will be at Tibbetts Creek Manor.

Council members are expected to lobby for transportation investments along the Interstate 90 corridor.

The priority list includes a $2 million capital funding request for an Interchange Justification Report evaluating the design needs of the freeway’s Front Street interchange, where surface roads are known to be commonly congested during rush hour. The list also includes a $300,000 request for design improvements to State Route 900, and an unspecified investment in peak use shoulder lanes for I-90 from Eastgate to West Lake Sammamish.

The Legislature convenes on Monday, Jan. 12.

Tibbetts Creek Manor is located at 750 17th Ave. Northwest.
